I had a very odd Issue with a Sony SNC-RZ30P networked Webcam.... This one: Webcam
If a "normal" User chooses the "Java applet viewer", he only gets the Sun Java loading Screen... and because the Java loading never ends he just leaves this Website ("damn IT is blocking everything...") ...but that´s not the End!
After a while i noticed that our Internetconnection is maxed out... With Astaro i have no chance to see who is causing that Traffic, so i waited until the download ended... Then i looked into the HTTP Access Log to find the big Download.... easy... it was the only 2GB Download. Somehow the Astaro Downloadmanager catches the Streaming from that Webcam...??? And it continues the download even if the Browser is closed! When the download hits the 2GB Mark (sponsored by ext3 Filesystem) it stops... and only then the HTTP Access Log is updated!
So... We need a Status Page where we can see the actual Downloads from the Proxy and a Button to cancel the silly ones... (A complete Traffic Monitor who sees everything (and is able to cancel everything) would be even better).
I hope to see something like that in v7...
