Content Filter (Cobion) Speed Hit

Hello Everyone,

Since installing 6.105 it seems I am taking a huge hit in download speed when Content Filter is enabled.  I have a dedicated fiber connection to my ISP and when I have   content filtering turned off, my ISP's bandwith meter shows me downloading at 30Mbs  .  When I  I have content filtering turned on, I get between 3-14Mbs (usually around 5 though) .  I didn't seem to mind the hit but since 6.105 it has really slowed down.  I've  upgraded to 6.106 to fix the viruscan issue, and I've tried disabling all categories, viruscan, spam check, and BLs from content filtering but still leaving it turned on and I have the same slow download speed.  

Anyone have suggestions.  I saw a thread regarding hosting the Cobion database but that didn't lead anywhere.

    And? Like on the highway, fast and risky or slow and safe.  [;)]
    Also the download speed is the same, you have to add the time it takes for the engine to check everything.

    That is not the answer. I have a small system with huge amounts of CPU and suffer quite badly with the Coboin speed. The CPU doesn't show heavy hits. SOmething went wrong with 6.104 or there abouts and doesn't appear to have been fixed up to 6.200. I have installed 6.201 and a letting it settle for a day or two before doing a serious investigation eg so I can get a couple of days of logs.
