problem with surfing

hi,

i have a big problem with the latest astaro...
many websites are not working (amazon, ebay, many others which are DEFINITLY working).

proxy is not activated, just intrusion protection and port filtering.

any suggestions?

    seems like there ´s something wrong with your MTU.
    Which kind of line do you use?

    What kind of error do you get surfing sites which don´t work?

    i´m behind an usual adsl (still).
    the type or error is a simple timeout...

    i´m using the astaro since version 5 (well, behind a cable modem) and i´ve never had such problems.
    is there such a difference between the cable mtu and dsl mtu?

    which mtu should i use?
