http caching enable

hello guys,

I would like to enable caching on the http proxy, but if I do so, internal webserver are being cached too. That is why the logfiles are exploding. Is there any opportunity to "bypass" the caching mode for internal webservers?

    If the server is on the LAN, and not the DMZ (from ASL) AND, If you have internal (split horizon) DNS, you can use your internal DNS to point to the internal address of the web server, bypassing the firewall.

    What do you mean "the logfiles are exploding"?
    Too much internal traffic?
    You can turn off most of the logging on the http proxy if you don't need it.

    the problem is that we have 8 webservers in the LAN, about 200 people are working on that machines... if I enable the caching mode the logfiles raise up to 300 MB per day... actually I just want to log the use of the internet and not all kinds of internal webservers...

    Simply add the internal sites to the bypass list under proxy connection configuration on your web browsers. If you are using IE, you can deploy these settings via Group Policy.
