Intermittent Internet Failure

I have a machine that is running 6.101 and seem to get intermittent http failure, pop3 seems to remain working.

At first i thought it was the router, so i connected some of the machines to a switch direct onto the router, and when the http failure occurs behind the astaro 6.101 for about 5 to 10 mins.... internet remains working on the machines directly connected to the router.

This problem seems to happen every 10 to 20 mins, and the outage duration varies randomly.

Thanks

  • Hi,

I have tried to use astaro 6.101 with the proxy enabled and in transparent mode and with the proxy disabled.

I have then also tried installing the software on another PC, original was a dell PC, and now on IBM PC.

There is a slight change in that the frequency of the problem changes to about every hour.

I will try to download another copy of the software and do MD5SUM checks on it and see the difference.
