HTTP Proxy stops working problem

Running Astaro 5.207. We are using the content filter together with http proxy. We experience that the proxy service (squid) sometimes seems to hang. We discover this via our web-browsers on the inside network using astaro as proxy server. Suddenly we are no longer able to access internet. Method to solve problem is to stop the http proxy service (via webadmin) and then start it again after some seconds. Have anyone experienced the same problem, and solved it?

Would an upgrade to ver. 6 perhaps fix this problem?

    Dear Friend,

    You can try to disable the Surf Protection (Virus, Spyware and Cobion filter).

    It may be the reason that makes your http proxy stop working.

    For me I don't know WHY the surf protection never works.
