SIP Proxy

Dear Friend,

I did not find any post for the SIP in the new ASL 6, Will the Astaro replace the ATA machine ? Can you help in configuration please ?

Does it require a public or private IP ?

    hi,

    it won't replace any ata. it's like the name says a proxy for your atas or softphones.
    it's verry simple to configure and it works great for me.
    in whitch points do you need help?

    A friend of mine told me that with SIP proxy you may able to make an international telephone call through a service with little tariff.

    I knew about SIP through installation of Asterisk (the PBX software).
