Speed vs surf protection

Isn't Squid supposed to be in the allowed services section of HTTP Proxy?

In Profile assignment change "Assign Network Blocks" to Lan(Network) I never use ANY on profile assignments.

I would also change the log level to content filter only. I would also block spyware.

Well, I did what you said. But it never send port 6000, I should disable "Block suspicious and unknown sites", I chose nudity, but it just slow down the internet and it never block www.sex.com or www.89.com or www.altbox.com, I explore it with speed difficulty.

Try to set the proxy to standard mode.
Add Squid to the allowed protocols.

Add nudity sites to the profile.
I would ALLOW Connect method for the time being. (testing)

Set the proxy manually in the browser.

Ensure that in your packet filter rules that port 80 is NOT allowed out. (Rely on the proxy).

Try say, www.free6.com after doing all this.
(I know its blocked)

I'll check my Home Power User license when I get home tonight.  (I do not have Cobion on my work license so cannot test).

As far I remeber, its not activated in the trial license.

Let me confirm that the trial license is a full license BUT it expired in 30 days.

Mr. Shaw, I did what you mentioned but still did not work.

What I used to get that the status bar shows "Conntecting to site www.yahoo.com" and it comes in about 1 min !!!!!!

When I block games_gambling, I tried games.yahoo.com.

but it also comes in about 2 min.

I mean it slow the pages but finally the page comes

If you are using the http proxy (does not matter which type) then port 80 should not be open in the packet filter rules.
