6.002 eDirectory Authentication not working.

 After setting up eDirectory Authentication under system-> user Auth, then turning on Http proxy -> User Authentication + Access log + none. I still cannot log in. The User authentication daemon live log shows this error : 
2005:08:24-18:08:57 (none) aua[27132]: do_auth_edir() eDirectory Authentication failed - user 'test' or password not valid

The User and password are correct, and I can login to the network with them, I also set the packet filter to allow any->any just to make sure that wasn't the problem. Anyone have any ideas?

    Of course I had to figure it out 5 minutes after posting. You can not have any underscores in your groups or OU names.

    Also, it seems that aliases in a new container do not work. =(
    Renaming the OU is not sounding fun...

    Hi Kelly, 

    this sounds strange to me, as i thought we have tested special charactes like underscore.

    Can you please provide us the name of the OU that didn't work in your enviroment, so we can check where the problem is?

    Underscores in Organizational Units, Groups and User names are working fine. I just tested it by myself.

    Anyway, aliases are a problem. It seems the eDirectory answers with the same user two times (once for the real user and once for the alias) which is not manageable by Astaro yet. I reported the problem to Astaro.
