[6.001] Not following Symbolic links properly

Found a good one for you guys :-S

If you open up any FTP site that has a symbolic link to a diff directory in FireFox "haven't tried IE yet" it doesn't follow it properly if you're going through the HTTP proxy.  Good example of this ftp://ftp.astaro.com/pub/ASL if you try going into v4.0 v5.0 v6.0 it'll say not found on server.  with the browser bypassing the proxy it'll go fine.

lol yes I know I'm a pain...  details below.

HTTP Proxy >> Active Directory, Vscan turned on, Cache turned off
FireFox >> 1.0.6 on Windows XP SP2

it's not a big one but it'll be a pain for some of the schools.

  • Hmm, I also tried that and it worked fine. Tested also on my own ftp server with some links. It worked fine. Does that problem only occure with Active Directory for user authentication?
