"squid not running" every hour please help !

Hi , i´m using AIS 5.203. I set up a new system only to use VPN/IPSEC. But i´m receiving this message every hour by mail.
i´m not using any proxy an all kinds of proxy is marked "red".

What can I do ? Please help a greenhorn in linux.

    Sorry, no words of wisdom, but we've been seeing this since updating to 5.203 - no fix yet, but you're not alone.

    Hi,

    what about the Squid-Logfile, any entries regarding an error? Do you use underscore in your hostname? That may cause this error.

    There's not a specific error that coincides with the hourly email.
    However, there is a regular set every 30 secs:

     - and the hostname is alphanumeric, no symbols.

    it seems that there already is a runnaway squid process running.
    try the following on the command line (as root):

    killall -9 squidf
