Blocking web ads?

has anyone been able to create an adBlock type list for the Blacklist in the Content Filter?  it'd be sweet to remove ads from being displayed regardless of the webbrowser being used (then both I.E. and Safari could benefit from Firefox's adBlock)

perhaps some version/transformation of filterset.g ? or, is there even a Cobion group that covers ads?

    i think the ad protection only works on cross site marketting. Because, if you are looking at a web page on at the domains web page (i.e. ebay.com), then ebays ads will get through...or else you would not see ebay at all. However, ebay ads from double click or another one of those crappy ad servers are blocked.

    if ebay was a spyware site, you wouldn't be able to see it if spyware is blocked and http content filtering.
