HTTP Proxy no longer working

Heya all

I had a power failure which took out my ASL box. I've booted it back up okay, but the HTTP Proxy no longer works.

I'm running ASL 5.2 and using transparent mode for the proxy, and when you go to a website now it will just bring up a blank page, with no errors. If I disable the proxy web browsing works as normal.

I've tried clearing the cache, to no avail, and rebooting ASL, but nothing.

The Proxy logs are saying:

2005:04:20-09:52:58 (none) squid[3599]: Squid is already running! Process ID 1038
2005:04:20-09:53:15 (none) squid[3616]: squid.conf line 49: acl LOCAL_PORT dstport 16497
2005:04:20-09:53:15 (none) squid[3616]: aclParseAclLine: Invalid ACL type 'dstport'
2005:04:20-09:53:15 (none) squid[3616]: squid.conf line 51: http_access allow LOCAL_NAME LOCAL_PORT
2005:04:20-09:53:15 (none) squid[3616]: aclParseAccessLine: ACL name 'LOCAL_PORT' not found.

Oddly the process that claims is squid is actually something called weed (what is this??). When I start the proxy back up, I can see the 'squid start' process appear, then it eventually disappears from the process list and squid is no longer running. 

Some help would be greatly appreciated!

    Never mind; I found another post where someone had a similar problem with squid using a pid that another process was already using. 

    Once I deleted the squid.pid file all was well again.
