Transparent & don't cache pages

Hmm, that's not possible by using Webadmin.
Only on Console which will result in losing support!


Insert into: /var/chroot-squid/etc/squid.conf-default

acl no_cache_servers1 dstdomain .examplepageone.com
no_cache deny no_cache_servers1

acl no_cache_servers2 dstdomain .examplepagetwo.com
no_cache deny no_cache_servers2

Thanks for the tip.. Will try this on my test ASL. I think this is something that should be in WebAdmin.

You can bypass the cache by pressing SHIFT+Reloadbutton in Mozilla/Firefox or STRG+Reloadbutton in Internet Explorer.

Hello guys,

I have the ASL V.5.024, what I need to know whether there is a specific time for ASL to save the caching, let say after 24 day, the cache will delete itself and restart from scratch.

Since each morning when I access the www.google.com or simple site www.volex.com, it should be flashed at my screen as usual.

I used to turn off my ASL and restart it in the morning. For the first time and the above mentioned site takes let say 8 second. The second time, 2 seconds.

This is not happened in each day, since there is no update for these 2 sites.

irst off 5.024 is an unsupported version.  I would update to at least 5.102(5.2 reccomended) and no..you can modify the cache aging algorithims inside squid.conf-default but there is no way to do that from webamin.
