client configruation without port

hello everybody,

perhaps anybody can help me. we are using the http-proxy. if we want to connect a client to the internet over the proxy we have to set manually the gateway adress and the proxy port in the browser. what we have to that the http proxy accepts the setting "find settings automatically"?

i found the problem. i had to change the proxy mode from standard to transparent. the browser now finds the settings automatically.

just to be a bit picky [:)]rected to the local proxy process.
