PPTP & HTTP proxy

Hi.

I have a problem with with HTTP Proxy (transparent) and PPTP access. Running ASL 5.1

When connected with PPTP to the FW, I can't access local web servers. The HTTP proxy tells me there is no such domain. Any ideas ? Anything else works fine (as defined in packet filter). With the proxy of, it works fine. That is not a solution for me.

Is there someway i can tell the proxy no to forward local addresses ?

After some more testing, it looks like it's the DNS lookup that is the problem. Entering the IP address works. Any tips ?

What did you enter as forwarders in DNS-Proxy ?
This should be internal servers then.

I had nothing. Turned on DNS proxy, entered my 2 internal DNS, and it worked fine.

Hi pintero

you have to add the PPTP Network to the HTTP Proxy allow list! I think you have already done :-)
And the other thing - Create a Masquerading rule from the PPTP Network --- Masq. --- to your External adress!!!
