Expression to allow all sites ending in .gov

Does anyone know how to write an expression to allow all domains .gov yet not allow www.govporn.com?

you'd need a few conditions to match...
http://www.whatever.gov/
https://www.whatever.gov/
http://www.whatever.gov/whatever
https://www.whatever.gov/whatever

I'd guess this regex should work:
^http[s]?\://[a-zA-Z0-9\-\.]+\.gov/.*

Note I haven't tested this.

You can add a tilde (~):

^http[s]?\://[a-zA-Z0-9\-\.~]+\.gov/.*

I'm sure there are other terms I am not thinking of too...
