ldapsearch

I can do an ldapsearch on the astaro that is on the same lan as the domain controller and get a result, I use the same command on an remote astaro connected VIA VPN and it just sits there.. never getting a result... anyone have any ideas?

The search is done by broadcasting. As you might know, broadcasts are not routed, so it does not work over an VPN (wich IS routed).

Is it? I DNAT port 389 to my external IP and it works from the remote site???
