I have had this problem since I setup v5 a few months back. Problem occures on 2 different machines WinNT4 and WinXP Pro (No SP2).
When I start IE i'm being asked for a username and password. I supply the credentials and the authentication works just fine. When I try to use the UPS Shipping software or Symantec Live Update, the same IE's authentication dialog box appears and prompts for a username and password, but when I supply the credentials it just asks me for it again and again. If I cancel I get a message in the browser "authentication failed". Does anyone know what's causing it?
