Using WPAD

How can i activate WPAD (windows? Proxy Auto Discovery) on my Firewall?
I have a Astaro Firewall with 250 prot. IP, and many notebooks.
My Http-Proxy is set to Auth. Now i need a easy'er way to set the Proxy settings in the notebooks, and if possible only "temporär".
All active directory implemeted stations get the proxy settings easy, but the notebooks, that should work outside WITHOUT any proxy, should get the proxy setting via DNS/DHCP, possible?

If the Astaro-Firewall has a setting, to say (via enhanced DNS-Proxy) that the firewall is the "wpad.mydomain.me", and broadcast via dhcp that "preDef 252-Wpad" is like "wpad.mydomain.me:80/wpad.dat".

Please say that this is possible that i can set this setting anywhere or that this little pice will be added in a soon aviable feature.

    I think I have this working.  ASL isn't used.

    On my active directory server I set wpad.blah.com and put the proxy.pac file into default IIS server.

    In AD Policy I told IE to use script proxy.pac (basically wpad.dat renamed) and "auto detect settings".
    ie: Auto detect proxy script http://wpad.blah.com/proxy.pac

    (Make sure you set the MIME type (Google "MIME proxy.pac")).

    Hopefully, (aint fully tested yet) when a laptop logs in locally, the policy will apply and it will pickup the proxy settings from proxy.pac script.  When out of the office the autodetect should work to allow the user net access without the proxy server.  Will test this week hopefully.
