V5.024 slow surfing

Hello,

my customer with V5.024 running on a P4 2,8GHz and 1024MB RAM with SP/VP 
says that surf speed is slower than without SP/VP.
Images are skipped by searching for Viruses.

My customer is very unhappy with this.

Anyone who has these problems too?

    I'm only running Surf Protection, not Virus protection, but on a much lower-class of hardware--PIII 866, 128MB, 40GB HDD and I don't see any performance lag.  In fact I was pleased how fast it performed.  I'm also on ASL 5.024.

    Have you tried (temporarily, at least) turning off just SP or just VP to isolate if one is causing more delay than the other?
