[5.024] Problem with FTP Squid Icons

Hi,
if I go to ftp.suse.de the images for DIR and DIR_UP are not
shown. Normaly these images should be provided from squid.
My browser trys to get them from the firewalls name and this name points to external IP Adress of the firewall, and there it can't get the images (of course).
I want my browser to get the images from local ip adress of the firewall (where squid runns). Anyone an idea how I can configure this?

Since ASL doesn't have a webserver on port 80, it would be a problem.

You _might_ be able to do it by copying the images into asl's web server dir, and telling squid to use https for the image location.
Or just tell squid to use some other web server for them.

I did not quite get what you mean.
The HTTP Page for ftp.suse.de is generated by squid.
From the source of the page the first icon [DIRUP] should be located here
http://www.mydomain.com:16497/squid-internal-static/icons/anthony-dirup.gif
but, thats the external adress (www.mydomain.com) of my firewall. But I want to the page to be generated like this:
http://192.168.200.200:16497/squid-internal-static/icons/anthony-dirup.gif
this should work, IMHO.
btw the icon is located on the ASL Firewall under:
/var/storage/chroot-squid/share/icons/anthony-dirup.gif

Do you see the icons if you go to ftp.suse.de or any other ftp site?

I'm using squid, but not on Astaro.
I seem to have misspoken; it's not necessary to have a web server for the icons.

is 16497 your squid port??

A NAT rule might do what you need.
INT_net TO EXT_IP port 16497 change dest to INT_IP
or something like that

Hi barrygouild,

no, 16497 is not my squid port. I think that is a random
port squid uses to communicate with the client.

Does anyone else see the Icons on the page that squid
generates for FTP Sites?

Just tried it on my ASL 5.024...
BROKEN icons also.
