MusicMatch JukeBox Plus

ASL 5.022

With the Content filter on, and attempting to logon to my Musicmatch Jukebox Plus account, I get a error box asking if  want to continue running scripts on that page, and the logon boxes never appear.

My surf profile has no catogories blocked.

I can access the site if I:

1. Turn off the Content Filter.
or
2. Leave the content filter on and add musicmatch.com to the trusted domains
or
3. Not use the HTTP proxy.

Musicmatch says that they use only the HTTP and HTTPS protocols. I have both allowed in the HTTP proxy.

Any idea why I cannot log on to the Musicmatch site through the HTTP proxy?

    Do you block Scripts in the Contentfilter?

    I mean on default settings -  scriptblocking is enabled!

    I can not find a login page on musicmatch website. Do you logon by using the software? Or is the login on a webpage? Could you please send the link to the loginpage?

    Version 9.0 has a subscription service called " On Demand ".  There is a logon button there, and clicking on it generates the error. With musicmatch.com in the whitelist it works fine.

    The page www.musicmatch.com is never displayed, but that is where the program connects to play the " On Demand " music.

    Ok, I give up.  Where is this feature? I just going through the HPPT proxy settings for version 4.23 ans 5.22 and can not find this setting.


    If you are refering to the ' Click to toggle script and content removal " icon that is in version 5, it is turned off.  Clicking it again causes the " do not enter " icon to appear.

    In V4 the option "whitelist domain" does not exists. You simply do not need it in V4, because V4 does not support the advanced content filtering options of V5.

    By the way. I am able to login to that musicmatch page. OK I do not have a account but I get the message "Username not valid". So it seems to work.

    I was refering to ASL 5.022 for the whitelist.  The version 4 comment had to do with someone's mention of script blocking, and my stating that I could not find that setting.  No matter.

    Do you have the MusicMatch 9.0 JukeBox installed?  If not, your situation is different than mine.

    WinXP SP2

    HTTP Proxy On
    Content Filter On
    No Domains in the whitelist
    Cannot logon / Script Error Through MMJB Player

    Can Log on fine with MMJB Player

    I have no catagories blocked in the surf profile.

    So, my question is why would the content filter be blocking scripts from running from this site.

    That could be related to the programming of the site. Maybe it uses very uncommon ways.

    That sounds like an Astaro response. 

    It works with the domain in the whitelist, so I will be happy with that.  I don't need to why, I guess.

    Just one more reason we are still running 4.xx at work.  Maybe a few of the next 22 uptodates will address the HTTP proxy.  Until then, 5.xx at home to test, 4.xx at work so I can keep my job.
