Uploads > 1MB fails through Squid-Proxy (ASL V5)

When our users trying to upload any file that is greater than 1 MB (e.g.: Webmail-Accounts like Yahoo, GMX, etc.) through the HTTP-Proxy the upload fails. They get an error in their browser window. Stepping back and doing the same action with a file smaller than 1 MB works without any errors.
The proxy is in standard mode, anonymity level is none, no content filter, cache is enabled.
In another post in this forum someone has pointed out, that these squid directives could be helpful:
request_body_max_size 100 MB
maximum_obeject_size 100000
I've tried it (entered in squid.conf-default and rebooted so that it goes in squid.conf) but it worked only a few hours, than the old problem comes up again.
Can anyone acknowledge the problem and/or already has a solution?

    well yahoo has a 1 meg attachment limit..do not know about GMX.  may want to check for restrictions on the webmail accounts at the webmail providers.  I have a google account and have not had any issues with large attachments uploading with proxy on(i use transparent however)

    This issue is not only restricted to yahoo & co. I have done several uploads to a server, which knowingly doesn't have any size limits.
    Have seen your difference is the proxy mode - when we don't go over the proxy but are using NAT/Masq then uploads > 1MB are possible.
    Unfortunately we should (must) use the proxy....

    can you describe what kind of error message you get when trying to upload?

    Sorry for the delayed reply (just back from holidays).

    We got immediately after trying to send the upload a browser error, that says: Page cannot be found (I can't remember the exact error number, something with 5xx).

    In the meantime I upgraded the Astaro to version 5.023. The release notes says that the "HTTP-Proxy 1 MB Upload error" was fixed. We tried it this morning and it seems to be OK now.
