HTTP proxy: dns request failed

Hi

My question is, which nameserver is used by smtp proxy? On my site the http proxy run's in transparent mode and i have trouble to get some sites.

I have two internal nameservers running, when i insert a A-Record that points to an external ip than the http proxy don't get this url.

I used a workaround and set the dns proxy forwarders to the internal dns servers, but it is not the priority objective of the dns proxy   .
I hope someone understand what i mean.
Is there a solution that i can use external forwarders in my dns proxy and the http proxy get all the sites?

    ok folks, new try

    I want to change the dns server address which my HTTP Proxy (squid) sends his request to.

    Squid on astaro runs in a chroot environment. In my squid.conf-default i have used the "dns_nameservers x.x.x.x" option. When i restart the proxy, no site will be resolved.
    I think the problem is, that the chroot environment can't talk to my configured (internal) dns server.

    Have anybody a idea what can i do to enable this communication?
