Hi there, I'm trying to make users authenticate using the firewall's proxy server togheter with Active Directory. I've done everything ok, people from Astaro said the settings are ok also.
Then I try to access the Inet and the browser asks for a username and password, i put the username in the domain\username format, then my password, but it keeps asking for my password again and again. My password is correct. I've tried with several other users, and it just won't work.
Astaro support said it must be a problem with the bind user, that is authenticating with Active Directory, but this user has rights to read the directory.
The user that is binding to the AD is inside one OU, which is inside another OU. So the settings in Astaro (Base DN) would be something like this: CN=My user, OU=second OU, OU=first OU, DC=domain, DC=domain, DC=com. The Base DN would simply DC=domain, DC=domain, DC=com. I'm using samAccountName as the Unique User Attribute.
The settings in the Active Directory are not done by me. The people that does the settings keep saying that the bind user has read rights over the directory, that they have no idea of what can be wrong.
Anyone of you guys has passed trough this before and can give me a hand? Thanks in advance.
