Every now and then the Squid-log file shows:
- TCP connection to 127.0.0.1/8888 failed
followed by :
- Detected DEAD Parent: 127.0.0.1/8888/3130
after which squid restarts. Sometimes squid then runs for a day or two without problems, sometimes only for an hour. Have I misconfigured something or is there something else wrong? I'm running ASL on a Nexgear NSA 1085 with 2GB.
I also noticed that the memory usage graph shows lower values then when I have a look with top from the command-line.
Can anyone give me a hint?
