HTTP Proxy still has problems

Updated to 5.011.  The proxy runs for about a hour then dies and you have to reboot.  This happens in standard and transparent.  I also found that if I turned the proxy completly off with no other way to get out to the internet, people were still getting out through the firewall.  Can anyone explain to me way ASL v5 has been such a piece of [censored].  I have been running ASL since version 1.8 and have never had any problems until v5.

    Rlott, the problems you're experiencing are not typical and could be caused by a number of things, including accidental misconfiguration (hey, it happens to all of us).  You didn't say how you got to the existing configuration - was this an import from v4?  If so, I would *highly* suggest you reinstall ASL using the 5.010 ISO and then, before doing anything else, apply the 5.011 update patch.  THEN, import your v4 settings and after that install your license.  There were some problems in the earlier versions of the v4 import that were causing some headaches, it seems to have been fixed in 5.010.
