Cacheing and Content Filtering.

This was addressed in an earlier post..they are trying to find a way around it..but for right now this is the way it works..[:(]

Hrm OK. I didn't think Astaro were clear enough on the matter so was hoping for a clarification.

why do they need to find a way around it? It worked fine in V4.

actually it didn't.  if somebody was able to bypass the content filter and use only the http proxy then you could get to all the nasty sties you wanted by surfing what was on the http cache.  Sure it takes a agregrious admin error or a sophisticated user..but the possibility was real and there.  They disabled squid as a workaround to this problem.  They are trying to find a way to have the squid cache manged by the content filter..right now they have not found it.
