Problem when accessing HTTPS sites

Hi All,

We configured HTTP proxy and allowed both HTTP and HTTPS services. When I try to access some sites which are non HTTPS I am able to access all the pages. When I tried to access HTTPS enabled sites I am not able to see the page and the page is not displayed.Am I missing out something in configuration.

    I turned off the block Connect method and was able to get it to load the https websites. There seem to be a conflict with the block connect method. I did eveything at first all off then then them on one at a time time to see which is creating the problem and this one in particular seems to be the problem. Give it a short

    AFAIK the Connect method is essential for https. This means, while trying to
    configure a secure Proxy, you disable the use of Secure-Sites. In most cases
    block-connect seems to be nonsense.

    I have tried turning of different features and sometimes it works and other times it does not. I tried banking on the https site couldn't get through took the AS5.0 off by pass to sonicwall appliance works great. There's a buggy issue there that needs to be looked at before we can really deploy in real world scenarios.

    I tried mozilla firefox 0.9 gets everywhere including all https seure sight banking whatever through give it a try youmay never return. Still ASL5.0 got to fix the issue but for now try this avenue

    Ok found something very interesting.

    Just downloaded Firefox 0.9 and found that when I have Blocked CONNECT method, it wont let me browse HTTPS. Now I have the HTTPS service allowed on the HTTP Proxy.

    I have the Http Proxy in transparent mode and IE wont go through either. I disable Block CONNECT Method and Fire Fox can use HTTPS. I have HTTP 1.1 enabled on IE but it still doesnt go through. The only way to get IE to use HTTPS is through Packet Filter Rule.

    I will just use Fire Fox until a fix is done. Just thought I'd put my two cents in.

    should up2date 5.012 be the solution?
    I don't hope so because  https://webmail.strato.de/  does not work with IE...

    No, 5.012 just seems to be an up2date mod.  Maybe 5.013 is going to change a lot?
