Dear All
I must be going mad, but I have not been able to get the HTTP proxy working in any version of ASL 5.
Here are my specs
ASL 5.08
Pentium 3 933 MHz, 256 Mb 20Gb HDD, WinXP, IE6
DNS Proxy On, Listening on Internal, allowed Networks Internal
HTTP Proxy On, 8080, Standard, Access Log, no anon, Allowed Internal Network, Caching On, Surf Protection Off (Yes, I have disabled Default Profile)
Packet Filter Rule, Internal Network/Any/Any Allow
Even if I disable the HTTP Proxy, I cannot even get out direct with ASL as Default Gateway. All other outgoing services, i.e. PPTP, SMTP, RDP all work OK, so outgoing route OK, just HTTP not happening.
This has got me stumped. Long time user of Ver 4, so think I am reasonably familiar with how this should be configured, but I just cannot get it to work. I have read all the posts with various user issues with DNS, HTTP and Surf Protection, however none of them are helping.
Hope I have posted enough details, please ask if not.
Please help before I lose my mind.
Regards
