Question: Converting Date/Time in HTTP Proxy Log

When viewing the http proxy logs the time / date is represented by a number.  

My understanding is that this is the number of seconds since 00:00:00, January 1 1970.   

I have made a formula in Excel to convert this number into a date, but the closest I have come is within 12 days.

Anyone out there have a formula I could use, or a differt program I can use to browse the logs?

    I didn't, but maybe Excel did.  

    Actually, I was typing a rather long reply to explain how I got the result I did, but as I was laying out the process and checking it in Excel, I actualy got to within 4 hours of the current date / time!.   

    Are the logs based on GMT or something?
