Unnatural default configuration of SSLVPN client

Hi

I found that default configuration of SSLVPN client is different depending on the conditions.
That's configuration of Automatic metric.
(Property of SSLVPN's virtual NIC > Advanced of General Tab > IP Settings Tab)

Case 1: SSLVPN client is installed newly.
> Automatic metric is enable

Case 2: SSLVPN client is installed overwritten. (Installation twice without uninstalling.)
> Automatic metric is disable. And interface metric:1

When original openvpn installed, that doesn't do such behavior.
It's clear that the cause is customization of Sophos.
Of course, I reported this to Sophos support. And they recognized the behavior, too.
But Sophos support said "NOT a bug".
I was astonished at a too crazy answer.
If it isn't a bug, that means making it such behavior intentionally.
However, they do not answer the reason why they customized to behave like this.
Sophos seems to be unwilling to increase the quality of UTM.
Thank you for crazy support!!
