no routing after Update 9.409-9 Cisco VPN

We use the "Cisco VPN client" feature for connection iPhones to the company network.

All worked perfect. Since the update 9.409-9 no traffic is routed through the vpn.

The vpn connection is establishing and shows no errors, but every connection from the iPhones is timed out. I can't ping trough the vpn.

Is there a bug in the 9.409-9 update?

  • It seems to be a bug, you're not alone with this problem since 9.409-9. I don't use Cisco VPN myself, neither have I yet upgraded to this build, but I've read some more people describing the same symptoms. Haven't seen any affirmation from Sophos tough.

    Maybe you could either rollback the update (reinstall UTM with older version ISO and then upload backup of config) or as a temporary workaround use SSL VPN which seems to still work.
