SSL VPN Adapter

I had to reinstall the SSL VPN client on a W7 laptop. I ran the uninstall before the installation no issues. When I did the reinstall this error popped up "An error occurred installing the Sophos SSL VPN Adapter Driver"  So I tried to manually install the adapter using the commands below and it still failed. Anyone run into this issue? Was anyone able to get the adapter reinstalled?

c:\Program Files(x86)\Sophos\Sophos SSL VPN Client\bin\deltapall.bat

c:\Program Files(x86)\Sophos\Sophos SSL VPN Client\bin\addtap.bat

  • Hi,

The issue is related with the TAP-win32 adapters. I think you might have already took the steps mentioned here. But, after uninstalling the SSL VPN from the system, do a restart and follow the steps mentioned in the guide. Also, download a fresh VPN client from the User Portal and try the install.

    Hope that helps.
