SSL VPN logins

We would like our AD users to be able to connect to the network using an SSL VPN. Currently, the only users that can do this are users with accounts specifically set up on the UTM.

Is this be design or is something wrong with our configuration?

  • Hi, Steve, and welcome to the UTM Community!

Take a look at #6 in Rulz for the answer.  I usually use Backend Groups in the SSL VPN Profile definition, but sync the appropriate users from AD using the prefetch on the  'Advanced' tab of 'Authentication Services'.

I'm involved in two different projects now where I'm replacing Local Users with Remotely-Authenticated User objects.  Be aware that if a Local User object with the same name or email address exists, the new Remotely-Authenticated User object won't be created.

    Cheers - Bob
