I hope someone can point me in the right direction if this has been looked at in another forum...
I have a main site with a UTM 220 and multiple connected sites with RED10s and multiple users connecting to the main site using SSLVPN from home. When ANY of these users try to copy files from the main server (PDF, CAD, any type really) using Windows drag and drop over a UNC network drive [G: being \\headofficeserver\common] to their own desktop the file transfer fails 9 times out of 10 with the standard 'Network connection no longer exists' or 'Cant find drive' etc...
They can use FTP to connect to our FTP server (on site, same network as G drive host) and transfer 700Mb files without failure.
I thought it was a protocol issue, I thought it was a MTU issue, I thought it was a UTM issue, I thought it was a Microsoft issue, but I can't seem to rule any of it out 100%.
I turned off ATP, IP,AC,and Web Filtering individually and all at the same time. Same thing...
I appreciate any suggestions!
Thanks,
