UTM to UTM link aggregation?

Hi!

Just a quick question: When connecting two UTM using a RED tunnel, is it possible to aggregate/bond WAN links on one of them in order to get a higher throughput?

I need to connect a branch office using two or three slow DSL lines to the main office (which has a high speed connection). Load balancing isn't an option for me because I only use a small amount of TCP sessions.

  • UTM doesn't do WAN bonding and wouldn't work with a tunnel type connection anyway, sorry.  At the branch office, if you haven't done so already, you may want to configure Uplink Balancing and MultiPath rules, so that only the RED tunnel is using one of the DSL WAN connections and everything else uses the others.
