SSL VPN client central distribution

Dear All,

in our company we use the Sophos SSL VPN Client for our Remote VPN access. Since every one in Company should be able to do this all of them need to install the client. Now we are loking for a way to distribute the client vir our software distribution Solution. (We use OPSI for this) My Problem is that I cant find the SophosSSL client standalone without user profile information. Better it would be to have it as an .msi packet.

Does anyone else has this requirments in the past, what solutions did you use to solve this enrolement for more than 300 clients without entering admin passwords to every single client?

  • You can try to select all SSL VPN Users in WebAdmin then click on the arrow at the top of the action column and download the SSL VPN package.
You will get a zip file with a setup, all user vpn configs and a csv with username to email mapping.

Then try to install with proper command line switches. IIRC it is a standard OpenVPN client setup...
