Update OpenVPN client

Hello,
I'm using Sophos UTM 9.315-2.

When issuing a new VPN client, the Sophos OpenVPN client issued has version 2.3.1 based, while the current released version is 2.3.8.

Every time I issue a client, I then refer the end user to download the latest OpenVPN client version because of stability issues I found with version 2.3.1

My question is: how can I upload to the UTM the latest OpenVPN client or anyother form of forcing the UTM to update it core client version.

thanks @Twister5800.
The next release is 9.350, there is no 9.316 release, as far as I can see.
the release notes doesn't mention anything regarding the OpenVPN client version.

I guess i'll have to upgrade and see.... :-)

According to what we've been told, the update will be available in 9.316 before we see it in the 9.35x line.

Hi @BAlfson,
from this link: https://blogs.sophos.com/tag/up2date/ you'll find information about version 9.314 and then version 9.350. I've updated my UTM last night to version 9.350 and still the OpenVPN client remains in version 2.1.

Is there any way to upload into the UTM a different version?

nadav, you can just update the TAP driver afterwards, it's a quick fix for now, and you can keep using the Sophos Client [;)]
