VPN SSL RemoteAccess Sophos 125 UTM 912-3

Appliance: Sophos 125 with UTM 912-3.

Hi All,

I have trouble with a SSL Connection.
Depending on this I can open the connection about the OpenVPN Client and I get some tunnel Ips.

If I set up the command "route print" on the client, all routes are looking good. (The Network behind the tunnel appears)

But unfortunately I have no access to the network behind the tunnel.

No pings or other services to a specific ip address behind the tunnel is reachable.

It seems, that all traffic are blocked from the sophos. But within the logs are no dropped entries included.

PS:
I have used the Installation guide
Sophos UTM
Remote Access via SSL
Configuring UTM and Client
Product version: 9.000

Has anyone an idea?

Kind regards
Thomas

  • Hi,

    1. Make sure the VPN network pool isn't conflicting with the LAN network addressing.

    2. you checked the firewall and IPS logs?

  • Hi, Thomas, and welcome to the User BB!

Did you install and run the client "as Administrator?"  In Windows 'Network Connections', does 'Advanced', 'Advanced Settings' show the SSL VPN Adapter at the top?

    Cheers - Bob
