HTML 5 Access very laggy.

Tried using HTML5 vpn access but remote access speed is laggy making any remote work basically useless.
Normal RDP over vpn has always been ok. Have hi speed access to gateway.
What am I doing wrong. Is there a configuration setting on the Sophos box I have missed.

    The HTML5 portal was never really designed for regular day to day usage by remote employees.  It's not a good Citrix replacement.  It's more for occasional administrative usage when no other connection means is possible.  It's extremely resource intensive, so will be laggy at the best of times.  

    Back when the feature was designed and implemented, the usage guidance from development was that on the best hardware available, there could only be a maximum of 5 users at a time and lower grade systems would make the number lower than that.  Now the documentation says maximum 100 users (probably pushed in by sales, rather than development or QA), but I've not seen any appreciable performance increase since the early days.  There aren't any settings or performance tweaks other than to throw more CPU and MEM into the system.
