Network drive inaccessable after SSL VPN disconnect

Hi all,

Having a interesting issue with UTM 120. We have set up a Remote Access to use the Active Directory for authentication of the user and the SSL VPN client.

When first installed the client works great and users can access our network drive (primary reason we need VPN access). However when they disconnect and re-connect they are unable to access the network drive. They get the "Window cannot access..." error and it says the network path was not found.

If they uninstall and re-install the VPN SSL client it works again. Any idea what can be causing this and how to resolve it?

  • Hi, and welcome to the User BB!

In Network Connections, Advanced, Advanced Settings, make sure the Sophos SSL VPN Adapter is at the top.

Change the Sophos SSL VPN Client to run as Administrator.

Any luck now?  If not, post the logs from the Client and the UTM for a single connection attempt.

    Cheers - Bob
