Cisco IP Communicator doesn't work over SSLVPN

I'm trying to use the Cisco IP Communicator over the SSL VPN, but it's not working.  It works fine if I use a site-to-site IPSEC VPN.  But now I'm trying to setup a mobile client so the user can have a softphone on their laptop.  Everything else works fine over the SSL VPN.  But CIPC does not.

Has anyone had any experience using CIPC over the SSL VPN?

    I figured it out and it is working now.  I'll post the info here in case someone else ever has this problem.

    The problem is that the Cisco CME system runs the phones on a VLAN with IP subnet 172.16.20.0/24.  But we run everything else on 192.168.101.0/24, which is where the SSL VPN was pointing.  I was trying to connect the softphone to the 192.168.101.x address on the Cisco router thinking that a phone could also run on that subnet.  The softphone did connect there initially, but when a phone first connects to the router it downloads an XML config file.  That file was pointing the phone to the 172.16.20.1 address on the router, which it could not access over the SSL VPN.  The solution was to add 172.16.20.0/24 to the SSL VPN config.  I solved it by using Wireshark and watching what as happening.
