HTML5 VPN Client Popup Blocking error - bug?

Hi,
I've recently installed a SOPHOS UTM 9 server through AWS Marketplace and got it up and running and I've been testing the HTML5 VPN Client. I managed to get it working and browsing my website through the HTML5 VPN client, but I'm having a problem that it prevents pop-up messages from displaying on my website, of which there are many, so it's basically un-usable for me.

What happens is that if you do get a popup window trying to open, the VPN client displays a popup message which says:

"Nightly prevented this site from opening a pop-up window"

If you click on "Always allow pop-ups from www.mywebsiteurl.com" and then try again it simply brings up the same error message again, so it's like it's not 'remembering' the fact that you've whitelisted your domain name to allow popups.

I saw one other post with someone having the same problem but I didn't see any meaningful reply from SOPHOS with any solution.

Does anyone know of a workaround for this? It seems a shame, as the technology is great in every other way as it doesn't require any sort of download or installation of a VPN client.

Note: I tried upgrading to UTM 9.3 but that made no difference.
