SSL VPN - IPv6 Endpoints

Hello,

im trying to get SSL VPN to work with IPv6 for the Tunnel Endpoints. 
If i set the SSL VPN Interface Address to the external Interface OpenVPN only binds to the IPv4 Address. 

When i set an additional IPv6 only Address on the external Interface and use this for the SSL VPN Interface OpenVPN refuses to start at all. There is no Error in the GUI indicating that these Settings are wrong and SSL VPN is not operational any more.

Makes me wonder if IPv6 is Supported for SSL VPN of if i ran into a bug.
My UTM is on Patchlevel 9.306-6.

    Same here. 

    Assigning "Any IPv6" to the interface Address in "Settings" and clicking on "Apply" leads to "The SSL VPN listen address requires an IPv4 address.". Thus, I did not manage to bind a ipv6 SSL Tunnel ... There are some checkings running (openvpn.log) that say: "do_ifconfig, tt->ipv6=0, tt->did_ifconfig_ipv6_setup=0" but no config posibillity with the gui. Editing openvpn.conf did not function as well (tried kind of tcp6-server).

    Can somebody from Sophos confirm this issue? Even better would be help with a workaround ... :-)


    The implementation of OpenVPN and IPv6 on Synology NAS works like a charm [:P] ... and it is not a security gateway ...
