Trying to setup PPTP and GRE to WIN2012R2 Server

im trying to setup remote vpn to a 2012 server inside my UTM9 firewall by just setting up two DNAT's one for PPTP and one for GRE to the 2012 server,  I can get partially working because it connects but then hangs at verifying user credentials and doesn't go any further.  If I test the client by trying to connect to the local IP of the 2012 server it works fine so this tells me that the firewall is not passing all the information.  Is there something special i need to do to get this configuration to work?  any help would be appreciated.

    Have you tried configuring PPTP under the Remote Access section?

    Yes I did but I was unable to get that to work too.  I couldn't find any documentation on how to set the client up with the UTM remote access so I just used the same settings I got it to work with server 2012 and it didn't work.

    Hi Bob Glad to have joined Ive been using Sophos UTM9 now for about 6 months and love it..  I did turn everything off including the kitchen sink as recommended in rulz1 nothing was making it to any of the logs that was useful. But I solved the issue.  come to find out it was my clients network that had the issue it was behind a cisco asa5505 and apparently that is blocking probably the GRE protocol.  I hooked my client up to my att phone and used its internet and then was able to connect to the 2012VPN with the two Sophos DNAT's in place and everything worked like a champ.  so hope this helps anyone else that tries to implement this and wonders if Sophos supports it.  It Does.
