Can't access VPN>>"No server certificate verification..."

I can't access VPN via OpenVPN for Android or OpenVPN Connect. I get the message "No server certificate verification..." with OpenVPN for Android. The message and setup are attached. If you need any additional info just let me know. Any help getting connected will be greatly appreciated.

  • Your configuration looks great, MD.  I get the impression that you need to delete the UTM SSL VPN config on your phone and re-install with this configuration.

  • Negative!

I actually uninstalled both VPN apps then re-installed OVPNforA and then downloaded the configuration from the user portal, again.

I am kinda puzzled by, "...re-install with this configuration." Which configuration?

Would it be helpful to post the configuration file downloaded from the user portal or the "generated config" for the client app . Are there any security risks in doing so?
  • for what it is worth, I just installed the latest .iso onto my Proxmox server with high hopes that it would fix this problem but whooommp whooommmmp. Nope, that didn't help. [:@]...no I didn't do this to try and fix the problem specifically just wanted to virtualize my UTM cause I can[:D]

Hope somebodies got a solution for me.
