PPTP access woes

Hi Guys n Gals,

Wondering if you can help out.

I have a user who is trying to access his firewall on his iphone/ipad using a pptp profile.

What he would eventually like to do is masquerade and go out through either of his uplink interfaces.

He is currently a member of pptpusers on the astaro v9 box and I have configured my phone up to mimick how he would be trying it.

I've managed to get to stage where I am connected into his firewall and can access his local network by browsing to certian IP addresses but cannot go out to the internet taking one of his external IP's.

Have also noticed in the PPTP log that my local IP seems to be the same as my remote IP.....doesn't seem right.

I also get "Cannot determine ethernet address for proxy ARP"

If anyone could be of assistance, it'd be a great help...
