I am very new to using Sophos UTM so please bear with me.
My setup is UTM 9 it is not used in a Domain environment, my device is used just as a Gateway/Firewall for a wireless setup around my site.
The issue I am having is when we have guests come on site and are trying to connect out using Cisco Anywhere Vpn client on their laptops. They are receiving the error message "AnyConnect cannot confirm it is connected to your secure gateway. The local network may not be trustworthy. Please try another network" Now I wonder if this error is down to my UTM unit not having a correct certificate installed. When setting up my device I did not set it up with public DNS because I didn't think it was needed due to not being behind a Domain Controller etc. I don't have Vpn or Cisco security subscriptions either. Strangely an XP machine using the Cisco vpn client will connect out ok but not windows 7. I have added all the ports exclusions that the vpn client uses.
My question is I have created a self signed certificate with the exact Hostname as was setup in the beginning, can I simply import this certificate into the UTM and will it work? I really don't want to have to reset to factory defaults due to our operation being 24hrs.
Any help would be appreciated?
